Application Development | Level 1 (CAD)

Location: Montreal ( Office attendance from day 1 -Hybrid Mode)

We are looking for an enthusiastic technologist with good communication and development skills to expand our Site Reliability Engineering practices.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their experience and impact in application development and delivery working in a complex, mission critical, security focused enterprise environment.

The candidate will be part of the global team with responsibilities of the below: Responsibilities:

- Creating internal open source tooling and integrations to modernise the enterprise stack, with a focus on observability and monitoring
- Contribute to reliability and resiliency of products their squad owns at all phases of SDLC
- Communicate and lead conversations on reliable and resilient development and operation of software within their department

Skills:Required

- 2 or more years of hands-on experience of Python development, either within educational or industrial setting
- Awareness and experience of CICD and DevOps
- Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach

Desired:

- Experience in any modern observability and or monitoring technologies, such as, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, Splunk
- Experience with system configuration management tools, such as Chef, Ansible, or with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform, Helm
- Experience with CICD and pipeline tools, such as GitlabCI,
